Dental services in Azerbaijan continue to draw public concern over affordability, particularly for procedures such as implants, braces and root canal treatment that are not covered by mandatory health insurance.
Prices vary widely depending on clinic type and location. In private clinics, fillings typically cost 70-100 manats, while state facilities may offer the same service for 30-40 manats. Tooth extraction ranges from 10 to 30 manats, and root canal treatment from about 70 to 100 manats. Braces can cost between 1,700 and 2,200 manats, while implants start at roughly 400-450 manats.
Specialists attribute the pricing to imported materials, equipment costs, clinic overheads and physician expertise, warning that low-cost treatment may lead to complications and higher long-term expenses.
