How Sea Breeze Plans To Build Azerbaijan’s Tallest Tower, Cipriani Tower

AZE.US

Sea Breeze founder Emin Agalarov has detailed the construction plan for Cipriani Tower, a 323-meter project billed as the tallest tower in Azerbaijan.

According to Agalarov, construction will begin from the base – an artificial island that has already been formed for the project. The next stage will involve a deep pile foundation, with piles expected to reach 120 to 150 meters underground to provide the structural strength needed to withstand seismic risks, wind loads and the overall weight of the building.

After that, builders will move to the central concrete core, which will house the tower’s elevators and stairwells. The floors will then be assembled using metal structures, with each level also being filled with concrete. The facade will be installed at a later stage and, as Agalarov put it, is intended to be especially elegant.

The final phase will focus on engineering systems and interior finishing. Agalarov said the tower could take about three and a half to four years to reach its final form.

The architectural concept was developed by internationally known architect Shaun Killa. The project is set to include the five-star Cipriani Resort Sea Breeze with 116 hotel rooms, as well as Cipriani Residences Sea Breeze, Baku, with around 127 ultra-luxury residences offered for sale.

The wider complex will also include banquet and conference facilities, a spa center spanning about 1,647 square meters, and Cipriani-branded restaurants and bars.
