Two Azerbaijani boxers have claimed gold medals at the Georgian national boxing championship among young athletes.
According to local reports, Ramil Mahmudov (52 kg) became champion in his weight category after defeating Ilia Sanikidze in the final bout.
Earlier, another Azerbaijani boxer, Jasur Gahramanov (46 kg), who lives in the Georgian city of Rustavi, also secured the national title.
Competing in the under-15 division, Gahramanov won the gold medal after defeating Armenian boxer Nodar Oganchanyan in the final.
With these victories, both Azerbaijani athletes finished the tournament as champions of Georgia in their respective weight categories.
