Electricity will be temporarily shut off in parts of Baku’s Yasamal, Sabunchu and Khazar districts on Sept. 22 because of repair and network reconstruction work, Azerishiq said.
In Yasamal, service will be restricted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Alasgar Alakbarov, Khagan Dadashov, Ismayil Talibli, Vasif Aliyev, Zahid Karimov and Zaur Karimov streets, as well as sections of Huseyn Javid and Matbuat avenues.
In the Bakikhanov settlement of Sabunchu district, electricity will be temporarily disconnected from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sharq and Ramiz Gambarov streets.
In Khazar district, the work will affect the Albalilig residential area in the Buzovna settlement and sections of Absheron and Izmir streets. Restrictions there will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Azerishiq said the outages are needed to replace power lines, repair a transformer station and prepare the network for increased demand. Electricity is expected to be restored after the work is completed.
