Parts of Baku’s Yasamal, Nizami and Binagadi districts will face temporary electricity interruptions on Oct. 21 as utility crews carry out repairs and inspect protection systems, Azerishiq said.
The work is intended to improve the quality and reliability of electricity supplies and reduce energy losses, according to Report, citing the state electricity distributor.
Yasamal: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Electricity supplies will be restricted in parts of Abbas Mirza Sharifzade, Hasan bey Zardabi, Khagan Dadashov, Khidir Mustafayev and Mirali Seyidov streets while repairs are carried out at a transformer substation.
Nizami: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Brief interruptions are expected on Bahruz Nuriyev Street and in parts of Babek and Gara Garayev avenues while crews inspect relay protection and automation systems.
Binagadi: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Repair and inspection work at a transformer substation will affect some sections of Mir Jalal Street in the 9th microdistrict.
All times are local. The restrictions apply only to the listed locations, not to the three districts in their entirety.
