A 63-year-old woman in Azerbaijan has become a mother for the first time after decades of waiting.
Local media reported that the news was shared by Natig Maharramov, PhD in Medicine, who said the woman had been hoping to have a child for 38 years.

“With God’s help, we carried out the treatment, and our 63-year-old mother finally held her child in her arms after a long wait. May God protect the baby. Thank God, our treatment was not in vain, and we were able to be part of this good deed,” Maharramov said.
Further details about the mother’s and baby’s condition, as well as the medical treatment involved, have not yet been disclosed.
