Azerbaijan Moves 195 Master’s Students to State-Funded Places

Must read

Azerbaijan has granted state-funded places to 195 master’s students who were admitted on a tuition-paying basis for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The decision followed an additional competition for state-funded places left vacant after the main admissions process, according to Azerbaijan’s State Examination Center.

The competition was held among bachelor’s degree holders who had already been admitted to the relevant master’s programs on a paid basis. The remaining state-funded places were allocated based on the applicants’ scores.

Universities Receive Student Lists

The list of 195 students has been sent to their universities so the institutions can process their transfer to state-funded study.

Participants were also notified through the mobile phone numbers listed in their personal accounts. Applicants can check the outcome through their online accounts.

The measure does not increase the overall number of master’s degree places. It reallocates unfilled state-funded places to students who had already been admitted through the additional competition.
