Work to demarcate the Azerbaijan-Armenia border will resume soon, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said.
Grigoryan did not give a specific date for the next phase but said cooperation between Baku and Yerevan on the issue would continue.
He said the two sides had approved regulations governing the work of their border commissions and that further steps would be carried out under that document. A separate announcement will be made when the process resumes.
The Armenian side is focused on stabilizing the situation and securing long-term peace in the region, Grigoryan said.
Demarcation is one of the key practical elements of normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia. It involves marking an agreed border line on the ground after its legal delimitation.
