Azerbaijan has failed to qualify for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
The country’s representative, JIVA, performed in the second semifinal in Austria with the song Just Go, appearing on stage under number 2. But she did not secure a place among the acts advancing to the final.
The finalists from the second semifinal were determined by viewer voting.
JIVA’s entry, Just Go, was written and composed by Azerbaijani-American composer Fuad Javadov.
Earlier, Azerbaijan’s public broadcaster had urged viewers to support the country’s entry after voting opened, either by SMS or through the esc.vote platform where available.
Azerbaijan’s Eurovision campaign this year ended at the semifinal stage.
