BAKU, Azerbaijan - Azerbaijan plans to test Grok artificial intelligence models in government agencies, public services and the mygov digital platform under a new cooperation memorandum with SpaceXAI.
The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and SpaceXAI will assess where the technology could improve the quality and accessibility of government services, according to Vesti Baku.
The memorandum does not amount to an immediate nationwide deployment. The next stage is the preparation of a road map covering pilot projects, technical demonstrations and work with interested government bodies.
Separate Agreements Required
Each specific project will require a separate agreement. The ministry said implementation should include modern security and data-protection measures.
The parties also plan knowledge exchanges and specialist training intended to strengthen Azerbaijan’s domestic artificial intelligence capabilities.
The initiative is linked to Azerbaijan’s artificial intelligence strategy for 2025-2028 and its digital development acceleration plan for 2026-2028. The government has already begun implementing 58 initiatives under its broader digital strategy, including the integration of agency information systems and AI-supported public services, Report.az reported in July.
SpaceXAI markets Grok for government workloads including citizen services, document analysis and secure deployments, according to the company’s government services page.
