A roundtable bringing together representatives of Azerbaijani and Armenian civil society was held in Azerbaijan under the Peace Bridge initiative.

According to local media reports, the event included a second panel discussion focused on the current state of the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process. Participants exchanged views, assessed the progress made so far, and put forward proposals on how to sustain dialogue between the two sides.

Earlier in the day, the roundtable opened with discussions centered on encouraging direct contact between civil society representatives from both countries.

It was also reported that the Armenian delegation entered Azerbaijan by land through a previously delimited and demarcated section of the border, completing all relevant border and passport control procedures.

The dialogue is being held within the framework of the bilateral peace agenda endorsed during the trilateral summit in Washington on August 8, 2025, attended by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the United States.

The agenda of the meeting includes the current state of the peace process, activities carried out by participants in the Peace Bridge initiative in their respective countries, the results achieved so far, and the broader regional situation.
