A basic school uniform in Azerbaijan will cost parents at least 47 manats, or about $28, ahead of the 2026-2027 academic year.
Trousers and skirts produced by the Baku Sewing House are priced at 15 manats, or about $9, down from 20 manats, AZE.US.
Jackets have been reduced from 30 manats to between 20 and 22 manats, or approximately $12 to $13.
Short-sleeved shirts and polo shirts cost 12 manats, or about $7, while long-sleeved versions are priced at 14 manats, or roughly $8. The manufacturer said the shirts are made from 100% cotton fabric.
A minimum three-piece set consisting of trousers or a skirt, a jacket and a short-sleeved shirt will therefore cost 47 manats, or approximately $28.
Choosing a 22-manat jacket and a long-sleeved shirt raises the price to 51 manats, or $30.
The calculation does not include shoes, sportswear, replacement clothing, a backpack or other school supplies. A family’s total back-to-school spending will consequently be substantially higher than the price of the basic uniform.
Baku Sewing House said its sales centers will remain open every day, including weekends, through Sept. 15.
The uniforms come with a one-year warranty. Parents have been advised to avoid purchasing clothing from unverified sellers because the origin of the materials and the availability of quality certificates may be unclear.
Addresses of authorized sales points are available on the Baku Sewing House website and its Instagram page.
