Two members of Azerbaijan’s U-15 freestyle wrestling team have won gold medals at the European Championship in Samokov, Bulgaria.
Huseyn Emrahli, competing in the 38 kg category, defeated Estonia’s Daniel Samuel 9-0 in the final to become European champion.
Azerbaijan’s second gold medal came from Pasha Aslan in the 44 kg category. He beat Armenia’s Pasha Khudoyan 4-1 in the final and took the top spot on the podium.
The U-15 European Championship is scheduled to conclude on May 24.
