People working a standard five-day week in Azerbaijan will have four consecutive days off from Nov. 7 through Nov. 10, according to the country’s official 2026 production calendar.
The extended break covers Saturday, Nov. 7; Victory Day on Sunday, Nov. 8; State Flag Day on Monday, Nov. 9; and an additional rest day on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
Under Azerbaijan’s labor rules, when a nonworking public holiday falls on a regular weekly rest day, the day off is transferred to the next working day. Because Victory Day falls on a Sunday in 2026, Nov. 10 is listed as a rest day.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection’s official calendar lists both Nov. 8 and Nov. 9 as nonworking holidays and confirms Nov. 10 as an additional rest day for five- and six-day workweeks.
Constitution Day on Nov. 12 and National Revival Day on Nov. 17 remain commemorative dates but are working days.
