Patients at a Baku hospital are complaining about disorder in the queue system, saying that people are not always admitted in the order they arrive.
The complaints concern the 4th United City Hospital, where visitors say the lack of a proper online queue system and poor coordination at registration have created confusion.
According to patients, some people arrive early in the morning but are forced to wait while others who come later manage to enter ahead of them.
“Whoever has someone inside gets ahead,” one patient complained.
Others said the ticket numbers given to patients do not always match the actual line, while some visitors allegedly do not take a number at all and simply try to move forward through the crowd.
Patients say the situation creates tension at the hospital and makes the process more difficult for people already seeking medical help.
In response, TABIB said the 4th United City Hospital is part of the Baku Main Health Center.
The agency said the heavy workload is linked to several factors, including the large number of residents served by the hospital, patients coming from other areas to see specialized doctors, and referrals from other clinics for various medical services.
Additional pressure also comes from services provided to military conscripts, as well as people seeking health certificates for employment or driving licenses.
TABIB said an online queue system has already been fully introduced in several medical institutions, including the New Clinic, Absheron District Central Hospital, Nizami Medical Center and the Clinical Medical Center.
The agency said the system is expected to be introduced in other medical facilities soon.
Officials say expanding the online queue system should help reduce overcrowding and bring more order to patient admissions.
