Azerbaijan exported 358,800 metric tons of crude oil worth $253.1 million to Bulgaria in January-August 2026, with shipment volume rising 4.53-fold year over year.
The value of the shipments increased 5.25-fold compared with the same period of 2025, according to data from Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee.
Bulgaria accounted for 2.44% of Azerbaijan’s total crude oil exports during the eight-month period.
Total Oil Exports
Azerbaijan declared exports of 14.678 million metric tons of crude oil and petroleum products derived from bituminous minerals, valued at $9.282 billion, in January-August.
The country’s total foreign trade turnover reached $33.238 billion, including $21.815 billion in exports and $11.423 billion in imports.
