President Ilham Aliyev said work has begun in Azerbaijan’s Aghdara district to prepare mineral deposits for development, with Kalbajar and Zangilan expected to follow.
Aliyev identified gold, copper and molybdenum deposits in the liberated territories as priorities.
After Aghdara, work is planned in the Kalbajar and Zangilan districts, he said. The goal is to begin developing previously explored reserves in the near future.
