The AzParking mobile app has been updated with new features aimed at simplifying registration, payment and daily parking operations for drivers.
According to Vesti Baku citing Tural Orujov, spokesperson for the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency, the updated version of the app includes a simpler registration process, new tools for everyday use and expanded map-based functions.
The main changes include integration with MyGov and SİMA for easier registration and identification, an improved notifications section, faster submission of complaints and suggestions through the app, and broader map-based functionality.
The app now also shows active parking sessions in real time. In addition, users can apply for individual parking permits for several people through a single account.
The agency said the updates were developed based on user feedback and analysis of daily app usage.
Drivers can still use the post-payment option, which allows them to pay after ending a parking session. The app also offers 15-minute, one-hour and 15-hour parking options. When a driver selects any option other than post-payment, the fee is charged immediately.
The agency said the one-hour and two-hour parking options remain regulated as before. Once the selected time expires, the driver must renew the session. Drivers are warned about this through SMS or an app notification.
According to the agency, the latest update is not limited to visual changes. The logic of the app and user flows have also been optimized, allowing drivers to complete daily parking operations more quickly and with fewer steps.
The agency said the development of the app will continue in stages, with new features planned based on user needs.
