A three-hectare municipal land plot in Azerbaijan has been offered for long-term lease with a starting price of just 162 manats ($95).
The property, located in the village of Sorabad in the Khizi district, will be leased for 15 years and is designated for livestock farming.
The plot is among 29 municipal land parcels scheduled to be auctioned on August 12 across several regions of Azerbaijan.
The available properties are intended for agriculture, livestock farming, gardening, private home construction and business activity. They are located in Khizi, Siyazan, Zardab, Goranboy, Shabran, Khachmaz, Jalilabad, Yardimli, Gobustan, Gakh and Balakan.
Largest Plot Covers 110 Hectares
The largest property included in the auction is a 110-hectare pasture in the settlement of Sitalchay in the Khizi district.
The land will be offered for a 15-year lease for livestock farming, with a starting price of 5,940 manats ($3,494).
In the village of Tughay in the Siyazan district, a 5,000-square-meter plot designated for agricultural production will be offered for 55 manats ($32).
Several agricultural plots are also available in the Zardab district:
- two hectares for 300 manats ($176);
- 1.3 hectares for 195 manats ($115);
- one hectare for 130 manats ($76).
All three plots will be leased for 15 years.
In the Shabran district, a three-hectare livestock plot has a starting price of 360 manats ($212), while 1.94 hectares of agricultural land will be offered for 194 manats ($114).
In the Khachmaz district, a 3.9-hectare agricultural property is priced at 487 manats ($286), while a four-hectare plot in the village of Sibiroba will start at 500 manats ($294).
Some Properties Will Be Sold
While most of the land is being offered for long-term lease, several plots will be sold outright.
A 30-square-meter commercial plot in the village of Borsunlu in the Goranboy district has been listed for sale with a starting price of 1,800 manats ($1,059).
Land intended for private home construction will also be offered in the villages of Naghioba and Giragli in the Khachmaz district, as well as in Yardimli.
Prospective participants can obtain additional information from regional offices of the State Service on Property Issues under Azerbaijan’s Economy Ministry or from the relevant municipalities.
