BAKU, Azerbaijan - A court in Azerbaijan’s Goranboy district fined two men a combined 6,000 manats after police found them playing dominoes for money in a teahouse, local media reported.
The game took place at a teahouse on S. Jivazade Street. The men, ages 43 and 39, were playing with stakes of 60 gapiks, according to Lent.az.
Police detained the two participants and drew up administrative offense reports. Officers found and seized 5 manats and 70 gapiks connected with the game, along with 28 domino tiles.

Both men told the court they regretted their actions and asked for lighter penalties. The court fined each man 3,000 manats, bringing the total to 6,000 manats.
