Passenger rail service between Baku and Tbilisi will double from two to four daily trips starting Nov. 1, Azerbaijan Railways said.
The increase will follow the introduction of a new train on the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku international route.
Three Carriage Classes Planned
The train will include standard, standard-plus and business-class carriages, according to the railway company.
Azerbaijan Railways did not include departure times, journey duration or ticket prices in the announcement cited by Vesti Baku. Passengers should confirm those details in the operator’s official timetable before traveling.
The additional service will expand passenger links between Azerbaijan and Georgia and provide more options for international rail travel between their capitals.
