Azerigaz customers can now arrange and digitally sign gas-supply contracts through Azerbaijan’s mygov platform using the SİMA electronic signature.
The integration allows subscribers to complete the process without paper documents or a visit to a service center, according to AzInTelecom, the company that announced the new system.
What Changes for Customers
Citizens can submit an application through mygov and sign a gas-supply agreement remotely with SİMA. The same digital process is also available at ASAN xidmət and ASAN Kommunal centers, where gas purchase-and-sale contracts for individuals and organizations can now be prepared electronically.
AzInTelecom said the service is intended to reduce processing time, cut paper use and make document management inside Azerigaz easier.
The companies plan to extend the SİMA signature to additional services and internal workflows in a later phase. Users can obtain SİMA free through its mobile application without visiting a service point.
The expansion of electronic services is part of Azerbaijan’s Digital Development Concept, approved by a presidential decree dated January 16, 2025.
The new process adds gas-service contracts to a growing list of public and utility documents that Azerbaijanis can handle through mygov, the government’s digital services platform.
