The price of Azerbaijan’s flagship Azeri Light crude rose by $4.64, or 3.81%, to $126.59 per barrel on the global market.
The grade had traded at $121.95 per barrel a day earlier, according to APA and Report.
December Brent crude futures settled at $126.69 per barrel. Azeri Light supplied from Türkiye’s Ceyhan port on a free-on-board basis gained $3.54, or 3.2%, to $114.89 per barrel.
The latest global-market price is nearly twice the $65-per-barrel average oil price assumed in Azerbaijan’s 2026 state budget. The government set that benchmark when preparing the budget amid uncertainty over energy-market conditions.
The increase comes as geopolitical risks and concerns about possible supply disruptions continue to put upward pressure on global oil prices.
