The price of Azerbaijan’s Azeri Light crude rose by $2.25, or 1.88%, to $121.95 a barrel.
The previous quotation was $119.70. The latest price is $56.95 above the $65-per-barrel oil benchmark used in Azerbaijan’s 2026 state budget.
Quotation Is Above the Budget Benchmark
The figure is the current CIF quotation for Azeri Light, not an annual average or revenue already received by the state budget. The eventual effect on government income depends on export volumes, the average price over the full period, costs and other factors.
