Must read

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s foreign exchange reserves rose 34% in the first 10 months of 2026, reaching $15.43 billion as of Oct. 30, according to data released by the regulator.

Reserves increased by $3.92 billion from the end of 2025. The precise total reported by the bank was $15.4304 billion.

Reserves Added $67 Million in October

Compared with Sept. 30, the reserves grew by $67 million, or about 0.4%.

Against the end of October 2025, the increase was $4.06 billion, or 35.7%.

The figures refer only to foreign exchange reserves held by the Central Bank. They do not include all of Azerbaijan’s external state assets, including funds managed by the State Oil Fund.

Higher reserves strengthen the regulator’s capacity to support foreign exchange market stability and meet external obligations. The increase does not by itself signal an automatic change in the manat exchange rate or currency-trading rules.

The data were independently reported by Report and APA.
