Summer is generally the best time for homeowners in Azerbaijan who plan to sell one apartment and immediately buy another, according to real estate expert Anar Nasirov.
Speaking to Pravda.az, Nasirov said prices are usually more balanced during the summer, allowing sellers to complete both transactions without facing a major gap between the sale price and the cost of a replacement home.
Those who plan to sell an apartment without buying another property may benefit from waiting until after September 15-20, when city apartment prices typically rise compared with the summer months.
Private homes and land plots follow a different seasonal pattern. Demand begins to increase in April and remains stronger through the summer, making spring and summer the better time to sell.
After October, interest in private houses and land usually declines, putting downward pressure on prices. For buyers, late autumn may therefore offer better deals on these types of property.
