Azerbaijan’s diplomatic missions are helping citizens stranded in Iran after passenger flight cancellations return home through operating land-border crossings.
The notice to Azerbaijani citizens in Iran was issued on Sept. 23. The information was reported by Report and APA.
How Citizens Can Return
Citizens who bought airline tickets but remain in Iran because their flights were canceled should contact Azerbaijan’s embassy in Tehran or its Consulate General in Tabriz. The diplomatic missions will help arrange their return through functioning land-border checkpoints between the two countries.
Passengers holding tickets issued by Iranian airlines were also advised to contact the carriers’ sales offices to request refunds.
