Azerbaijan’s average monthly nominal salary is projected to rise from 1,288.3 manats ($758) in 2027 to 1,551.5 manats ($913) by 2030, according to a Finance Ministry forecast.
The figure is expected to increase by 20.4% over the three-year period, Vesti Baku reported. The forecast puts the average salary at 1,369.2 manats in 2028 and 1,466.9 manats in 2029.
As of August 1, 2026, Azerbaijan’s average monthly nominal salary stood at 1,176.7 manats ($692), up 7.2% from a year earlier.
Household Income Forecast at 137 Billion Manats
The Finance Ministry expects total nominal household income to grow from 107.5 billion manats ($63.2 billion) in 2027 to 137.1 billion manats ($80.6 billion) in 2030, an increase of 27.5%.
The interim projections are 116.5 billion manats in 2028 and 126.7 billion manats in 2029.
Household spending is forecast to rise at a similar pace, from 105.1 billion manats in 2027 to 134.1 billion manats in 2030. The gap between projected income and spending would widen from 2.4 billion to 3 billion manats.
All figures are nominal. The actual change in purchasing power will depend on inflation, which is projected at 5.3% in the draft 2027 state budget.
