Royale Casino at the Sea Breeze resort is scheduled to open in May 2027, project founder and Agalarov Development President Emin Agalarov said.
“Construction of Royale Casino is moving ahead rapidly. The casino will open in May 2027,” Agalarov said, according to an announcement carried by Pravda.az.
The 90,000-square-meter complex is being built on an artificial peninsula at Sea Breeze in Azerbaijan’s sector of the Caspian Sea. The building is planned to stand 35 meters tall.
Plans call for 12 VIP rooms and a main gaming hall designed to host international poker tournaments. Entry will be restricted to people aged 21 and older.
The project represents a new development in Azerbaijan’s regulated gambling and resort sector. Earlier announcements about Sea Breeze discussed several planned casinos, but Agalarov’s statement provides a specific opening month for Royale Casino.
