Property owners at Sea Breeze are complaining about long lines at entry points, frequently changing access rules and the lack of a clear channel for contacting the development’s management.

The issue was raised publicly by ophthalmologist Dr. Cahid Shahbazov, who said he has owned property at Sea Breeze for several years.

Shahbazov wrote on Facebook that entering or leaving the development often involves long waits and inconsistent treatment by security staff.

He also questioned why permanent property owners and short-term renters are subject to the same entry procedures.

“We understand the importance of security, but stability, transparency and comfort are also necessary,” he wrote.

Shahbazov called on the management to create a more convenient access system for permanent owners. He also said residents currently have no clear way to submit complaints or suggestions.

The post sparked a heated discussion. Several residents supported his concerns, saying they sometimes wait for hours to reach their homes, particularly on weekends. Some suggested introducing a separate entry lane for property owners and permanent residents.

“I also live there, and every time I arrive, I end up arguing with the security guards. There must be a solution,” one commenter wrote.

Another resident said Sea Breeze increasingly resembles a shopping center rather than a residential community because the interests of people living there are not being adequately considered.

However, the proposal to give permanent owners priority drew criticism from other users, who argued that it could discriminate against short-term renters.

“What is the difference between a permanent resident and a tenant? The solution should address the overall problem rather than target renters,” one commenter said.

Some participants blamed the congestion on large numbers of outside visitors, people arriving from neighboring areas and the alleged transfer of access wristbands to unauthorized guests.

The discussion highlighted two broader concerns: growing pressure on Sea Breeze’s infrastructure and the absence of a consistent access policy that balances the needs of property owners, renters and visitors.

Sea Breeze management had not publicly responded to the complaints cited in the discussion.
