Azerbaijan will begin accepting applications for the 2027 Hajj on Sept. 24, with the preliminary price set at 10,370 manats ($6,100) per person.
Applications will be accepted on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Caucasus Muslims Office’s administrative building at 7 Mirza Fatali Street in Baku, according to APA, Report and Vesti Baku.
The preliminary price remains unchanged from last year, but Vusal Jahangiri, head of the Caucasus Muslims Office’s foreign relations department and manager of its electronic Hajj system, said a small increase remains possible.
He cited the international situation, Saudi Arabia’s reduction of service packages from four to three and the inclusion of new services. The pilgrimage will be organized under a single package that includes air travel.
Documents Required
Applicants must provide a passport valid for at least one year, a copy of their national identity card, two 5-by-5-centimeter color photographs on a white background and a medical certificate. Women must submit photographs wearing a dark hijab.
Registration and visa processing are beginning earlier this year on the recommendation of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
